Rhythmic Expansion
A rhythm and movement class, requires a large open space

Beginning Music Theory, Part I
Created for IES, Beginning Arrangers & general population,
Gain an understanding of how music is put together and what the symbols mean
to you as a beginning arranger. Learn to identify and understand key and
time signatures, recognize intervals and learn the basic chords used in
barbershop harmony.

Beginning Music Theory, Part II or The Heart and Soul of Rhythm
Created for IES, Beginning Arrangers& general population,
Receive training and practice in writing rhythmic patterns that exactly
duplicate the way they intend the song to sound. Emphasis on note values,
ties, rests and other rhythmic symbols provide a clearer understanding.

Intermediate Music Theory
Created for IES, Beginning Arrangers& general population
Beyond identifying notes, lines and spaces and key signatures, this class
continues with skills in identifying the barbershop chords, chord spellings,
and voice part positions within the chords.

Understanding Intervals
Focusing hearing, reading and understanding the Building Blocks for Chords.
